While in Venice

Finally visited lovely Venezia!

Still terrible at capturing pictures from the places we visit.

I’m busy observing everything and enjoying myself that taking pictures doesn’t even come to my mind most of the time.

If it wasn’t for my sister taking pictures of places we visited, and some of my outfits (and I can’t even stand still for too long), I probably wouldn’t have much to show you lol

So thank you sis, again!

Blazer: old – similar here and here / Top: Ann Taylor – no longer available – pretty options here – 50% off today w/code SUMMER50 and here – also on sale!  / Jeans: via Nordstrom / Flats: J.Crew – 30% off / Bag: Chloe – pretty option for less / Watch: Daniel Wellington c/o  /  Sunglasses: Ray Ban / Ring: BaubleBar

We’re flying back home on Tuesday…and as much as I love to travel, I’m SO ready to be back home!

I wonder if the ‘homesick’ feeling comes with age lol

My longest trip to Europe was six weeks, visiting family and friends, and it was great.  But I was also single back then and probably a little more adventurous (and a lot younger haha).  Now I just miss home after a week or ten days max.

How about you – do you feel homesick while traveling/vacationing?

Great casual combo and Venice serves as such a romantic "backdrop"! :)http://www.lartoffashion.com/2016/05/30/no-fear/

Love your pics, Venice is my second fave city I ever visited (first is Florence).I get home sick when I travel too. Especially now that I have my husband and toddler travelling with me. We travel frequently but there's nothing like the convenience or home.

beautiful photos! Love love love this classic look, Lilly! I am the exact same way when it comes to remembering to take photos on a trip. Especially outfit photos. Caught up in the moment is a good thing, unless your a blogger and need lots of pictures. LOL.Italy is an amazing place! Yes, I do get homesick, but I'm always grateful for this because it is a sign that I really like my life. You look beautiful, my friend!
