Finally made it to Nordstrom to check out the anniversary sale in person.
The closest Nordstrom is not very large, so it didn’t have a ton of things I wanted to see in person, but picked out a few things I really liked, and actually had already ordered some.
I hope some of these are helpful and give you an idea how they look/fit.
I ordered this top in black, but went ahead and tried it on to make sure I got the right size. This is XS I’m wearing. It’s fairly light and almost sheer but not quite (hope you know what I mean ;). Love it! Glad I ordered it, super cute.
This cardigan is nicer than I expected. It comes in multiple colors and since I own cardigans in most of those colors, I purchased this one in black. Got size XS (also wearing here XS). These are perfect for Fall. If you’re in need of longer cardigans, I think you’ll love this one, especially for the price. I wish it had more colors I didn’t own already.
Love the length and the side-slits on this top. Perfect for fall over skinny jeans or leggings (wearing XS also purchased it in XS).

Loved the look of these jeans but the fit wasn’t right for me (they’re ‘slim boyfriend’ jeans that’s probably why. Most of them I don’t like on me).
I’m SO glad I tried this tee on as it runs big (even though the website DOES say that lol). But at times I tend to not read those suggestions…until I had already placed an order. oops
Even though I do like loose tops, this one was just loose enough in XXS. So definitely size down. It’s a super cute and comfy top (thin).
Closet basic that goes with everything. Tried on XS.
This tee was a little thicker than most tees and slightly more structured. It feels like a high-end tee.
Wearing xs
Adorable top that does with everything and would look super cute under blazers or cardigans too.
The more I look at this poncho the more I like it (one size). It would definitely be perfect for fall over sweaters.
The N sale has a number of suede knee and OTK boots at different price points and I narrowed it to two pairs I liked. Once I saw them in person though I immediately decided on these. I like that the slit in back of the knee is small, unlike in these ones, (which some people might prefer, so it doesn’t rub on the back of their knee maybe…. It’s all about personal preference, but both are very pretty).
I’m so exited to wear these this Fall, which skirts, dresses, jeans…
Even though I’m technically not allowed to buy any more bags this year (I probably shouldn’t for the next few years really), I still had to check out what they had. From TB bags this one was my favorite. It has compartments, space for laptop and other things. If you’re looking for a nice tote type bag, where you can also carry your laptop this one is a nice one. But I also love this one which is also on sale on TB site.
Had to snap a pic of these pretty lace-up flats. I’m forbidding myself to get another pair….three is already plenty. But if you’re on the hunt for flat lace-ups these are super cute and come in multiple colors.

I looked at these flats and the footbed cushioning is amazing you guys. I don’t need flats (even though I’m still debating getting the black ones). I think these are made for walking.
If you need comfy flats for work, or anything else, these are amazing.
They come in leopard, black and two other colors.

The flats seemed SO comfy. Let me know how you like them. I'm still thinking about them..mainly because I don't own any that have such good footbed cushioning. And every girl needs a super comfy pair of flats 
I've been waiting for the sale, but the only thing I was planning on ordering is some otk boots. I had the 2 you linked in my cart, so I'm really glad to see which you liked of the 2, love the color too!!
I'm glad I got to see them in person. It helped me decide which ones to get and which ones I'd get the most wear out of. I ended up ordering way more than I planned (plus the trip to Nordys yesterday. Yikes).
Just curious… Which otk boots did you miss out on? I also was looking at the Halogen pair in grey…..

And I just checked the website for the suede moto jacket I really wanted and they restocked (xs was sold out but I'm hoping Small will be perfect). I really wanted those Halogen ones in gray too but I was worried about the long 'slit' back of the knee and that it would make the boot look too loose around the front of the knee (hope this makes sense lol). I have a pair of flat otk boots that have a long slit in the back of the knee and just don't like the way they look it the front. I like when it is fitted (like the ones I got). But these are suede and softer so the slit might not be the issue.

All lovely outfits! I have to agree with you on the boots, I think you made a great choice. While the other is pretty, the back side makes it look more like something more akin to what the 3 musketeers would wear. I would have selected the ones you picked in a heartbeat!
