My favorite way to dress up a plain tee is by adding a statement necklace! That one piece of jewelry elevates a simple jeans and tee outfit. It adds a touch of fabulous(ness)

It's Amazon Bib (Nordstrom has it but with a few darker crystals). Also Sugarfix by BaubleBar (available at Target) has a very similar version…it's lighter and cheaper too
