less is more

Shirt: old – similar here, here , here and here – on sale + extra 40% off! tts  /   Jeans old – similar here, here and here  /  Pumps: Nine West old – same style, similar here and here  /  Bag – similar style for less   /  Watch: Kate Spade

Working on putting sticky notes all over my closet with words “Stay True To Your Style”.  jk  … but I probably should do that haha. Simple, classic pieces will always be my favorite, but it’s fun to experiment with trends. Just don’t spend a lot on them.

I came across some pictures from when I was in high school…wearing a bomber jacket lol (I lived in Germany at that time). It looked very similar to this one.  I knew I should have kept that jacket haha.
I don’t see myself wearing one now but it does looks really great on so many.

– How do you decide which trends to follow?

– Which trend is your favorite?   Or least favorite?

I’d love to hear… Do share in the comments below.

Honestly, the older I get, the less I'm concerned with trends. I think it had something to do with being alive the first time neon was popular, and seeing it come around again was rather eye opening, lol! My mom and I went through the depths of her closet and discovered a 'vintage' pair of high rise acid washed jeans. Like, from when that was the new trend, lol!I definitely love effortless style, nothing fussy or figity. realizing that I can't pull off all trends was helpful too.I will get on board with over the knee boots trend though, love that look!

Totally agree with you! Haha, she knew they would come back in style lol I do love OTK boots and they have been around for quite some time now and hopefully they'll stick around for a very long time. I got my first pair of OTK boots in 2010 and I still wear them.
