Spring Dresses

Happy Friday!

This post has been in my head for a couple of weeks now and it seems appropriate to post it now that Spring is officially here.

I love dresses! I’ve accumulated quite a few and while I’ve worn them a lot last Spring and Summer they haven’t made it to the blog very much. So this year I’m going to make an effort and share more of my daily looks (whatever the occasion).
Dresses are so easy to throw on plus it’s the entire outfit.

Today I’ll be sharing my favorite dresses for Spring, which work just as well for Summer, of course.

Lace Dresses are just plain pretty and feminine. This dress below I’ve dressed up with heels and heeled sandals for dressier occasions and, as seen below, dressed it down with a denim jacket and flats for a more everyday Spring/Summer look. Even dressed down is still feminine.

Floral Dress
Floral dresses scream Spring. There are so many different styles available, from dressy to more casual, there is something for everyone.

Off the Shoulder Dress
Off the shoulder dresses make me want to take a beach vacation. This trend is still around and this year the options are even greater than last year.

Striped Dress
Major love for striped dresses. Remember my striped dress post – 1 dress 6 different ways?  But styling options are endless (this reminds me I haven’t worn that dress in quite a while. Note to self: Wear it soon!).

I got this gingham ruffle dress below yesterday and I can’t wait to wear it. It is currently 30% off w/code HAPPYSPRING – ends 3/26
It can be paired with so many types of shoes for different looks. Like espadrille lace-ups,  also loving these (a lot!), cute flats, like these or these,  for a Parisian look. It’s easily dressed up or down. Now I definitely can’t wait to wear the dress haha.

Another dress that’s on my wish-list currently is this lace insert midi dress (in Tall), but it comes in Regular, Petite and Curvy.  It is absolutely beautiful!
If you’re looking for a pretty dress for a special occasion, Chi Chi London has some of the prettiest dresses and the prices won’t break your bank.

What type of dresses are you favorite?

Wishing you a fantastic weekend!

Me too! I got a gingham skirt last year that I have yet to wear so I'm super excited that this year gingham made even bigger come-back 🙂

I need dresses! Is the off the shoulder dress from Loft? I love the midi dresses, wonder if I'm too short (5'3"). I love the floral dress on you, gorgeous!

Yes, I got it last year. I think you could pull midi dresses off, (you're not short) especially if you wear them with wedges or somewhat of a heel. But I think with even flats it would look cute…and very Parisian (I don't know why midi dresses/midi skirts with flats make me think "parisian chic" lol)

You'll be so proud of me! I actually found the OTS Loft dress on Poshmark for $15 AND I found the prettiest eyelet midi dress at Old Navy!

I love all these dresses! You look adorable in all of them! I'm always looking for dresses that are past the knee but they can be hard to find and aren't always flattering on me. Thanks for the suggestions! -Rosehttp:/:babiesandbluejeans.blogspot
