Fitting rooms snapshots (LOFT, Ann Taylor)

Happy Friday! 

Since there are some promotions going on this weekend I thought I’d share some fitting room snapshots I had.

Almost all dresses at Ann Taylor are $75 this weekend and there are quite a few cute ones. 

 I’d say all of the dresses I tried on fit tts. If you know what your usual size is in Ann Taylor dresses you should be able to stick with your size.

Absolutely loved this dress…they way it fit – not too tight, seems very comfortable  but it’s oh-so-short on me (way shorter than it looks from this angle). I was really hoping it would come in Tall as well, but unfortunately it does not. Only in Regular and in Petite).   I tried on my usually size XS and it fit great. 

Striped Dress

I love, love, love dresses like this one. They are so versatile. Cute with flats, sandals or heels. You can dress with down by throwing a denim jacket over.
Comes also in black. 

 I personally find this style to be flattering on just about everyone (yes, even if you think your hips are too big…I think you especially can rock this style. That’s the “complaint” I hear from many you about this style of dresses…you think you can pull it off.  But believe me, you can rock it! just MHO
If you’re pretty busty it might be a tad tight in the chest area. 

Tried on my usual size 0 and it fit fine (can’t wait to style this dress). 

Eyelet Midi Dress

Absolutely loved this dress but why aren’t most dresses I’m loving coming in Tall???!!!  Tried on my usual size 0 and it’s fit is pretty good. My biggest problem with sheath dress is that they tend to be hugging my hips a tad much. Sexy yes. Modest no. This one wasn’t as bad as two other sheath dresses I tried on (which I forgot to include. But which also, sadly, are not included in sale). 

Flare Sleeve Sheath Dress

Really liked the style of this dress. It’s light, falls nicely but something seemed off…perhaps the shoes I decided to try on with it…not a fan of the combo. I think a daintier pair of shoe would look be better. 

If you are really tiny on top and in waist you could size down in this dress. I tried my usual size 0 and while it wasn’t too big it had just a tad room (which felt comfortable). For me sizing down might not be an option (not that I’m blessed on top nor do I have an tiny waist).

Boho Floral Midi Dress

Liked this dress on a lot better than I though I would. Color is really pretty and flattering, specially with bit of a tan, which stands out even more.  But it’s too short for me and this is in regular (I’m 5″6′ fyi).  It does come in Tall and another color, Winter White.  I tried on my usual size ) and the fit was comfortable. A tad room in the waist but not enough to pass it up (if I was getting it).

 Ciao Tee in XS – loved it so it came home with me. Xs was a nice relaxed fit. 

Denim shorts (sized down to 25 but I’d go with my usual 26 for a slightly relaxed fit).
But I have these from a couple of seasons ago

 Loved the back detail on this blouse – ruffle crossover. Tried on xs and it was a tad roomy – I would probably size down in this one.

I realized this is the second time I tried on this top. Clearly I like it. Tried on Small and it’s too big. I’d stick to my usual size, XS.  But it feels great on, quite soft and it falls nicely.  It’s long enough to cover the front and  back if you like wearing it untucked. 

Stripe Bell Sleeve Blouse

Plain white tee with cute ruffle details on the sleeves. Tried on xs and I like the relaxed fit.  I might order this one.  Also comes in light blue

Ruffle Cuff Tee

Tried on xs and I wouldn’t say it was oversized but rather just a tad roomy.  I also didn’t like this top on me.

As I was leaving the store I noticed this cute Eyelet Wrap Peplum top but didn’t feel like going back to try it on. So cute though.  and this cute polka dot top.

Saw this top online and LOVE it. Unfortunately sold out in my size.  Also, I didn’t see this circle eyelet top in store, but how cute it is
