chicest pants on the block

Ok, so not everyone is a fan of wide-leg pants. And I totally get it. I have to be in certain mood to wear them myself.
But if you want a instant Parisian chic or just chic period…get a pair!

I purchased my first pair of wide-let pants almost two years ago, as seen in this post.

And this year they’re everywhere. Finally getting the attention they deserve 😉

These pants can be dresses down even a tad more with a cute pair of converse sneakers.

And of course, they’re easily dressed up.

Couldn’t resist this $7 striped short sleeve tee.  Ordered two sizes. The Small fits more like xs.  I kept the Small and it is semi-fitted. so it works great under jacket, blazers or cardigans. Or tucked into skirts and high-waisted pants.  For the price I can’t really complain.

This jacket has been my go-to lately (even if it doesn’t seem warm enough on most days. Unless worn with a sweater. Spring, where are you?).   I got it in xs and it’s a great fit.

I originally was going to get size 2 in these pants (0 was way too small).  Size 2 fit ok on an empty stomach lol (any weight gain goes straight into my midsection, unfortunately. One day I’ll start working out for real ;).  I’d say I was slightly trying to squeeze into size 2.

So, I wanted to be able to breathe and eat without having to unbutton the pants, so I got size 4.

Bottom line: These definitely run small.

Jacket: Old Navy  (in xs)  |   Tee: H&M (size up, runs small)  |   Pants: c/o Ann Taylor (size up. wearing size 4)   |   Flats: c/o Ann Taylor   |  Bag: Sarah White  |  Bar Necklace, other one  |   Ring

I do really want to know, how do you feel about wide leg pants – yay or nay?

I love this look, Lilly! I have a pair similar to your look from two years ago, but they're longer. I think I'm going to hem them to try this look! I also LOVE those shoes!

i actually prefer wide legged pants to the skinny one. I just never got into skinny jeans/pants. I always wear wide legged pants or gaucho's instead. I think they look much more chic and are more in my comfort zone because they look like skirts (which I prefer to pants)

I have friends who hate skinny pants. Totally understandable. I feel like wide leg pants never go out of style.
