Wardrobe basics you need in your closet and…

I say wardrobe basic because they’re wardrobe basics for me and my personal style.  I could not imagine not having these pieces in my closet. And I have accumulated quite a few.  Tees and cardigans are one my my go-tos during Spring and Fall. 

We all might have different definitions of wardrobe basics based on our life style.  For someone with a bolder style a bright, patterned top might be a basic.  But since you’re here we might agree on wardrobe basics/essentials (which will be a entirely different post hopefully soon). 

Tees – still not sure there might be such a thing at too many tees.  I tend to be just a tad picky when it comes to tees. I’m really liking this one..it’s not too low cut, the V part is not narrow and there is no indecent exposure when you bend down. Wearing size Small here and it fits great. 

I mentioned these jeans in a different post but quick recap – they fit like a glove…well fitting glove that is  I had to wiggle my way in but once past that they fit amazing. I love that they have stretch in the waist (one of my biggest problems with jeans is waist).  To me they feel more like leggings. Very comfy though. And I find them slimming. 

This cardigan…. For as long I was eyeing it you’d think it cost $$$ and not under $30. XS kept selling out and I settled for Small. It a tad big. Which I usually don’t mind…but once I wear a well fitted cardigan I start to over-analyze how others fit me (which is case with other items as well). Now I want it on xs (I might give this one to my sister and go for xs). And this over-analyzing is thanks to this cardigan.  Bottom line: runs tts and it’s great for the price. 

 Still loving these flats. Wore them recently with a pencil skirt and they still looked amazing.
