Happy Friday everyone!
Any weekend plans?
I’m hoping to paint my office, which I’ve been saying for months now. I have a feeling it won’t happen this weekend. If it rains tomorrow, there might be a higher chance of my staying indoors and painting. We shall see.
I also thought about using wallpaper on one of the walls. Can’t quite decide. Don’t want to spend a lot of $ either way I decide, since I get bored quite easily.
Also sharing ‘random 5’ I’m currently loving. I’ll keep them random, meaning…there will be home goodies, beauty etc. So anything really.
Random five:
1. FP lace bralette (I love these. They’re comfortable and not itchy like some lace bralettes).
The other day I wished I had one in white when I wore my white button down, which you’ll see at the end of this post. Need to order white bralette asap)
2. These Dining room Chairs – l.o.v.e. I’ve been eyeing these for a while and really want them. While I do like our current ones, they’re velvet and our sectional is also velvet. Just go tad much velvet going on lol. And the price of these Target one is on point.
3. Anything from PJ Salvage (I have one of their Pj sets and it’s SO soft and comfy).
4. This Mango Knit Coat! And Mango detail sweater. And this chain leather bag (couldn’t pick just one. Love so much from Mango. Fun Fact – up until a few years ago, I still had a skirt from Mango that I got in the late 90’s when we lived in Germany. My love for Mango goes way back
5. Any tote from Kayu (looking at you sale section. Really want this one).
And…
Just saw this bag online and it was love at first sight. I thought it was JW Anderson (because of the ring). Nope, it’s a lot cheaper option. Fell in love with the style and color Mink.
The small one is too small (just because I have too many tiny bags).
BUT just noticed it comes in a bigger size (it’s on major sale right now!)
Ah…might need to treat myself. Will sleep on it so I don’t have another impulse buy.
I’ve been loving chillier evenings (mornings too). Last night we sat outside and it got so cold. Too soon mother nature, too soon.
Cardigans and camis are prefect combo for these types of days..not hot, not cold.
Topshop Cardigan – on sale! It’s a tad oversized style. You can size down (I didn’t)| Mother Jeans – worth the $ | Cami (old) – similar styles here, here and here | Madewell bag | Flats (about 3-4 years old) – amazing options here, here, here, here on sale and under $25 | Both necklaces are old but found almost identical options – disc necklace + another option, bar necklace – option for $14 – highly recommend this set
If you know about the Gibson soft fleece tops (which I have a few of and they’re amazing), the one I’m wearing below is basically a dupe but for a lot less $. SO SO good!
I picked up size Small for a slightly more relaxed fit. It comes in more colors too.
Top in Small || Jeans (super old) – similar options here, here and here | Forever 21 slides (this color stained my feet lol) – more fab options here and here
Wore this outfit just around the house. Wanted to try out these shoes before wearing them outdoors.
So far they seem very comfy. Love the color. And they’re on major sale!
Lightweight Sweater (in small. I wanted it extra loose) | Lace-up Espadrilles – (I sized up a 1/2 size and they fit great) | Loft Shorts (old) – very similar style
I also got this Crewneck sweater, in Small as well.
Both are perfect for chilly summer mornings/evening which are becoming more frequent lately.
If you’re on the hunt for a nice boyfriend button down, the one below is a must. I was pleasantly surprised how nice it is. It’s soft, falls nicely, it’s longer in the back if you want to wear it over skinny jeans. And you can’t beat the price. I’ve worn it three times in the last 10 days. This one is another amazing option (I have it, and love it)
Button Down (I sized up to Small for a slightly oversized fit) | Ann Taylor jeans – on major Sale (I got size 0) w/the cutest ankle tie detail | Old Tory Burch Bag | Gucci Belt
You guys…these mules are And only $23!!!!
The instant I saw them online I immediately ordered them and hoped they looked just as good in person. And they didn’t disappoint. Great style and well made. Highly recommend these.
They totally give me Madewell vibes.
Light Sweater on sale + extra 40% off | Jeans on sale (size up) | Mules tts | Belt – on sale + extra % off – highly recommend. No hole so I can be easily worn with jeans and around waist with dresses etc. It stays put | Madewell tote | Sunglasses
Since it is end of summer pretty much, there are some AH-mazing sales. I’ll do a roundup but I have to tell you about these bathing suites…
This is THE best time to buy since they’re super discounted. And for me personally, a good bathing suit is a good bathing suit. A nice bathing suit never goes out of style.
I ordered this one in lilac a while back and LOVE IT (it look me 2 tries to get the right size. It runs small. I ended up getting size 6. But it depends how tall you are too. It didn’t seem long enough in the torso area which made it ride up on the rear end…almost giving me double check too. Not a cute look). I’m 5’6″ 125lbs for ref. Then I also ordered this one as well in neon flamingo (and now they’re even cheaper).
My sister is 5’7″ and we ordered her the same one in size 10 (she’s size small on top and about size 4 in bottoms). While it did fit ok, a size bigger might have been better…(which I actually just ordered to compare).
I think it really depends on how tall you are. Reviews said it runs tts but for me it ran 2 sizes too small.
So definitely read the reviews and perhaps order a couple of sizes.
I’d definitely recommend both bathing suits though, especially for the current price. INSANE!
As always, thank you for reading!
Have an awesome weekend!
Looks cute and classy what you wore! With love, Renawww.dressedwithsoul.com
