Outfits Lately and Labor Day Sales

I’ve been on the hunt for a pair of linen shorts and it’s amazing how hard it is to find a decent pair. I tried a couple of pairs but they were not flattering on me at all. I did find this pair that was the closest to what I was looking for but didn’t really want to spend $128 on them as they were not 100% what I wanted (on sale now but final sale). I came across the shorts below which are not linen but they’re the style I liked. And under $30. A few days after I got these in mail, I found a pair of linen shorts at a boutique lol. They’re not the exact style like the shorts below but pretty close. Actually, very similar to these which were sold out everywhere at that time (I heard they run big). Anywho…I got size small in the ones below (I’m size 26 in jeans for ref.). They come in several colors. Very much appreciated this nice restroom at a distillery on our way home from FL (we spent a night in Franklin, TN on our way down and a night in KY on our way up). Mood called for jeans and simple pieces and I was glad I brought some of my favorites. These jeans have been one of my most worn. They’re so comfortable. This is a pair I would repurchase if anything happened to these. They’re tts. Tee is whisper tee from Madewell but the new version runs bigger. I got it in white and it was SO wide under arms. So size down. But I love how lightweight they are.

This sweater blazer is on sale for a limited time. The updated version runs a tad bigger IMO. If you don’t like it as loose I’d suggest sizing down. This one is almost identical to mine and it’s even cheaper. A great summer to fall outfit. Swap the slides for loafers or sneakers and thrown on the sweater. I get excited about this sweater each time I reach for it even though I’ve had it for 2 or 3 years now. It has sold out so many times but it is currently fully restocked.
