Happy Friday guys!
Last week I stopped at Ann Taylor to check out new the Fall Arrivals (SO many good pieces. Too many actually). Since Loft just had their F&F sale I thought Ann Taylor must be having one soon as well. The sweet SA must have read my mind and told me it was coming up soon. And here it is! YAY!
My local store didn’t have a lot of pieces I wanted to look at, so there aren’t too many here I tried on.
Right now everything is 40% off w/Code “FRIENDS40” (some exclusions do apply).
Lets start with this gorgeous blouse. One word: Feminine. It comes in three color and I really could not decided which one to get. I was trying to go with one that looked most flattering on me but I felt as they all looked equally nice. It does require a cami underneath, so keep that in mind.
Blouse – in size Small (slightly too big. XS is a better fit).
Blouse – doesn’t this color scream Fall? The blouse has a split back (nothing is exposed). Very pretty!
Skirt – Faux leather. Great Fall piece. Other than some heels, it would look super cute with some nice booties.
Peplum Top – I liked that this top wasn’t overly “peplum-y”. I really like these type of tops as they tend to hide the problem area (hello delicious food).
Skirt – so cute! I tried on size 2. If I wanted it sit up higher on the waist, size 0 might have worked as well.
Split back Blouse (same as above)
Ankle Pants – I’m in need of some dressy ankle pants but this style didn’t work out for my body type.
Two-in-one Sweater – couldn’t take a good picture of this sweater, but it is SO cute. Definitely check it out on AT site as I know most of you will love it!

Crossbody bag – completely in love. It looks like a high-end designer bag but for an amazing price!
Leopard Pumps – also comes in lower heel and Flats
Trench Coat – A must have for every women – comes in Petite, Regular and Tall
Two-in-one sweater – great over skinnies or leggings to cover the tush!
Hat – obsessed with this color!
Fringe Heels – too sexy for words!
Wrap Blouse – feminine. classic.
Banana Republic
Gray Jeans – very soft.
I was really excited that these fit so nice (TTS). Even though I have a couple of pairs of gray jeans, they’re not as flattering, or soft, as these, so this was a win for me. Just the right amount of ‘distressed’. I’d definitely recommend these.
Top – SO cute but low cut. I think a tube type of bra with lace would look good underneath.
Racerback Midi Dress – (it was on sale in store)
In LOVE with this comfy dress! It will transition nicely into Fall by just adding a blazer, cardigan or jean jacket. (I wore it with a cardigan recently)
Tee – comes in multiple colors + stripes
This was love at first sight. Even though it is a slightly odd fit in the arm area, it didn’t keep me away from getting it. XS fit was fine, it was loose enough but I ended up getting size Small as I wanted it to be extra loose. It’s pretty thin though, so keep that in mind.
The structure of this top is amazing. It feels very expensive. And the picture doesn’t do it justice. I was just a bit disappointed in how long the back was (too long on me). If you’re taller (I’m 5’6″) this top might be perfect for you.

I always love these posts! I live much closer to an outlet mall than the 'real' mall. I've bought most of my clothes at the outlet version of Gap and Banana Republic. Now that my kiddos are back in school though, I may head to the real mall and see some of these pieces in real life!
I feel like I can never find anything in my size at the outlet mall (but I don't go very often). I think most stores are already getting some amazing Fall pieces (which could be a bad thing too lol).

I've been thinking about the gray jeans and I keep running into trouble with what shoes will look good with them. In my mind, I only see wearing black shoes. How are you planning to style them?
I have had/worn gray jeans for years and I've worn them with all kinds of shoes. I treat them just like blue jeans. In my head, they go with everything
