weekend wear – lace up flats

Oversized Coat: old – similar here and here, love this one under under $28 / Sweater old – similar here  / Jeans: Old Navy old – same style,  similar color and style / Flats: Topshop – exact style here and here  / Rebecca Minkoff  / Scarf old – pretty option

I hope all of you had a nice weekend!

I haven’t blogged in a few days and it feels like forever. Not sure if that’s a good or a bad thing.

This week weather will be back to “warm” so hopefully I’ll feel somewhat more inspired.

In the meantime, here is a weekend look from…a week ago?! (it feels like the weather is going from winter to spring, spring to winter, winter to spring etc. you get the idea. Every other day different season lol).

Have a caffeinated Monday!

Just wanted to give a quick shoutout! I've followed your blog for years now. I absolutely love your style! It doesn't go unnoticed that amongst all the fashion blogs out there, you choose to consistently stay classy and remain modest in your fashion and for that THANKYOU!!!

Love the flats! Was wondering if they were going to continue to be a statement shoe in 2016 and looks like they will! I might make the jump this year; I was too hesitant last year thinking it would just be a fad but I'l definitely get some wear out of it come spring. Thanks for sharing!coffeeslagCOFFEESLAG Color Filled Spring

I too think lace up flats will stick around for a while. It actually reminded me of when Over the knee boots became popular (I got my first pair in 2010) and people wondered if they were just a fad. But I guess they're still going strong. I think lace up shoes are going to be around for quite a while too (they better, they're so stinking cute 😉

You always look beautiful. I hope you don't mind, but I redesigned my blog using the same company you used. It's not done yet, but I'm very happy with the fresh look. We have both been blogging so long that sometimes a revamp is needed!

You're so sweet Noelle, thank you 🙂 Yes, a revamp is very much needed once in a while. Your new design look great, glad you're happy with it. Unfortunately I didn't get everything I asked for and it has left me with more issues and things that are still not functioning properly, (major things actually, which would cost me SO much $$ to fix by a professional that I just need to find someone else to do a new design…would be cheaper. And hopefully it would fix the issues that have been caused). I've been stressing out about it so much and it has left me completely frustrated and disappointed. After multiple emails I still have not heard back (and that was months ago), I feel a bit angry actually. But it has also taught me a good lesson, do's and don't when it comes to blog redesign (but it makes trusting people so much harder). I definitely won't be doing a "professional" redesign without a signed contract in the future. It's just sad when things like that happen that people can't be up front and say if they either don't know how to do something or whatever the reason for not completing it is, instead of just taking someones money without any explanation of why things haven't been completed.I'm happy things are working out for you though. Glad one of us is having better luck with the redesign 😉
