Casual Friday

Happy Friday! 

I was going back and forth on this blouse, actually just this color. I already own the longer version of this blouse in Olive color, which I LOVE, and I knew I wanted another one but couldn’t decide on the color (already had a very similar black one).  I can’t say that I’m loving this color. It’s just ok (I’m clearly hung on olive color lol). 

My thoughts on this blouse: 

Easy to throw on for a polished look (great price point too).  I like that it is longer in the back, great for skinny jeans when you want to cover your bum.  Also great for over leggings and boots for Fall. 

The V neck part is a little deep, so if you don’t want your girls exposed a cami, a bandeau bra or bralette is needed. 

I’m wearing this little bralette underneath which helps with some coverage (as you can see in picture above, it peeks through a bit at times. Also, it runs super small. I’m wearing a 38/US 6 and it’s still a bit tight. Should have exchanged for a bigger size).  In this case the statement necklace provided additional coverage

I have these jeans in black and love them. They’re one of my most worn jeans. Soft and comfy. 

I personally don’t find high-waisted jeans to be the most flattering on the rear end (pockets usually sit too high and I’m extremely picky when it comes to where pockets have to be located lol. But they tuck in everything nicely), so I usually wear longer tops with them.

The sizing is off a little in these…. I wear size 26 in jeans and in these I’m 28 (they only have even sizes).  I would definitely recommend these.
