weekend dress // wicker bag

Happy Friday beauties!

I’ve been eyeing these Madewell ankle wrap sandals for a while now but when I came across a similar pair at Target, for a fraction of the price, I immediately purchased them them.  While the Madewell ones do look nicer, to me, they’re also pricier.  

The only issue I’ve been having with these Target sandals is that the strap doesn’t stay wrapped around my ankle unless I make it so tight it cuts my circulation off  (don’t have that problem with any other of my ankle strap shoes).  I’ll figure it out though as they’re pretty comfy. 

The last place I ever expected to find a wicker bag was at Joann’s.  When I saw it, I had to take it home with me. Originally $30 but it was 60% off that day. The best $11 I’ve spent in a long time.
I dressed it up with a scarf which took it to another level of cute.

 I’ve been adding scarves lately to a lot of my bags, in some form or another. They add such a fun detail to any bag….and I’m especially loving it on this wicker bag. 

Wicker and straw bags have definitely become extremely popular this year.  A few that you might have seen on a lot of bloggers sell out so fast. 

I’m loving quite a few bags, and would definitely wear them a lot this Spring/Summer, but yet have to bite the bullet and pay over $100 for one.  This one is really cute, this one is adorable and great alternative to this Clare V. one (all the other ones I’m loving are sold out everywhere).
