Wearing a dress as a top.
I personally would consider this dress more of a tunic than a dress, on me at least (I’m 5’6″). But I’d definitely wear it as a beach dress/bikini cover up…just not so much anywhere else in public (a little wind and everyone gets a free show lol).
I’ve been going back and forth if I should keep it as-is and wear it as a beach cover up…but it wouldn’t get much wear as a beach cover up. So, since I love the color and the ruffles, I had my mom shorten it a bit so I can wear it as a top and avoid the awkward tuck-in…and also take the sides in a bit so it’s not as wide.
But I’m loving this dress, so pretty! There is definitely no shortage of ‘off the shoulder dresses’ these days. I’ll link below some of my current favorites.

So cute and perfect for Summer! Got to love a Momma that can sew! I have my mom alter a lot of things for me too, lol!
Those little bow heels are adorable! I love the idea of converting a swim coverup, they're always so cute but I wear them so rarely. Kristina does the Internets
