Outfits Lately - Roundup

Tees and cardigans are one of my favorite casual go-to outfits. And when I don’t know what to wear 99% of times I’ll end up in a good pair of jeans and a nice tee (nice to me Ordered this cardigan today, it’s on sale!

I’ve multiple of these pocket tees from Madewell, and while this one is my latest purchase, the older ones have held up nicely.

Errands outfit from a couple of weeks ago. I’ve developed a new love for loafers. Specifically this style. These are only $30 and surprisingly super comfortable. I find the sizing online off. I did think they had it right but they don’t. I ordered this pair in 8.5 and when I received them the size was 40 which is size 9. I’ve been since my teenage years size 39.5 (unless shoes don’t run true to size). They did not convert the sizes correctly (which does make it a tad harder to shop online if you don’t know about their sizing). I also noticed that they usually don’t have 1/2 sizes (from in-strore shoe shopping). These ones below are size 39/8 and they fit great. I re-ordrered the pink loafers in the next size down (what’s listed as 8/39) and they’re a bit narrow and snug…so if you have narrow feet these will be great for you. Since they’re real suede I’ll wear them around the house for a bit with socks and hope they stretch out (update: wore them today, Friday, and they did ok. Still narrow but they stretched out a bit. Hoping they will stretch out more. They can be worn as mules too). For the price the quality seem amazing. And the pink is gorgeous!

I’d like to say that this was a workout outfit but unfortunately it was not :/ Wore this around the house, minus the sneakers. Which I’m still crazy about. SO SO comfortable.

I’ve already talked how much I LOVE these ON leggings. Black moto ones were my first purchase. They really suck you in nicely. And I do find them more flattering than Lulu Lemons I have.

This blouse is so much prettier in person. It was love at first sight…didn’t even try it on. Just saw in on the sales rack, looked at my size and checked out. If falls perfectly (it meets my requirement of how I blouse should fall lol). I LOVE pairing blouses with jeans. Effortless chic.

And you don’t need a special occasion to wear a blouse. I hear this so much…women thinking that blouses are too fancy for them. No! I’d go grocery shopping in this outfit. It’s a blouse and jeans, nothing over the top. Why do we sometimes think we need special occasion to wear something nice? To wear our nice shoes? To wear our favorite fragrance? Every day is special you guys! (I feel like this could be an entirely post on it’s own lol).

And I forgot to take add this one… Got the funnel neck sweatshirt. I decided to go with Small for a relaxed fit.

Here is better look at the mules. They are soft and comfy. If you have really really narrow feet they might be a tad wide for you (not sure how wide smaller sizes would be).

On a slightly different note….

I got the floor pillow from Opalhouse collection since I like to sit on the floor and work work from the coffee table frequently But Zoey tends to think it’s her lol I also got this pretty tray (also have this one)…love the carved details (vase is thrifted).

Recent purchase is this coffee table…super affordable but is it not marble top. I wanted to see how much we’re going to like a round coffee table (we’ve been looking for a coffee table for about 2+ months. We’ve look everywhere). While I absolutely love the coffee table my hubby built, it is a bit too big and overpowers the new sectional. Two coffee tables I’ve been eyeing is this marble top one but the perfect one, that has everything I want (other than the size) is this one (pricey). But it’s so so gorgeous.

BUT, it’s too big Even if I was ready to spend that kinda crazy money on a coffee table it’s about 4-5″ too wide. Doesn’t seem like much but in that case it would be the same size as our old one, except it was square. That’s why I settled on the cheaper one, which looks fine (it’s a tad higher than what I would have preferred. But for the price I can’t complain).
