Poncho Coat + Check Jacket outfits

(At the end of this post I added one more outfit with the cutest check jacket (and how it can almost pass as a blazer). 

I was glad to see that these boots now come in more sizes.  I’m 8.5 and I got size 40 and they just fit

 (I’m not sure if their sizing has changed since I got these a couple of years ago).  But they’re great Stuart Weitzman dupe. 

If you’re a fan of Stuart Weitzman boots but don’t necessarily want to invest in a pair,  

These OTK boots these are the best Lowland dupes I’ve seen. 

I have such a love/hate relationship with capes/ponchos.  I definitely have to be in the right mood to wear them. But they’re great when you don’t want to wear a jacket/coat but just need some extra warmth.  And they’re so chic! Which is always a bonus.

I tied the belt in the back and the jacket can almost pass as a blazer. I always tie belts in the back on my coats to add a bit more structure to them  (unless I wear them tied in front, which doesn’t happen to often).

And it look just as good tied.  I decided to go with size Small but part of me wishes I would have stayed with my true sizes XS.  It look fine with a thick sweater but a tad loose with a thinner sweater (like the cashmere one I’m wearing here).

A ton of you ask me about these jeans Levi’s jeans.   This exact style is no longer available but there are similarly fab Levi’s styles available (some get even better reviews than these did, like these ones. They’re super similar to mine).
