Happy Tuesday!
So many of you loved this dark green coat. It is a stunning color.
I’ve been loving this color so much. Months ago I painted one accent wall in my office a dark green color (you might have seen it on my Instagram). It looks amazing against gold accents (like lamp, curtain rod and art frames).
While this is a gorgeous coat, it’s not a real winter coat. You’ll need layers underneath to keep warm. The day we took these pictures was so cold and windy and I only had the cashmere turtleneck underneath and I was coooold. So we took these pictures very quickly hah.
The other day I wore this coat without the belt. It has one button, I didn’t use it, but I did have a thicker sweater underneath. Looks good with or without the belt.
Ann Taylor Coat (in xs) c/o | Abercrombie Jeans (I sized up) – on sale | Cashmere Turtleneck Sweater – non-cashmere option | Booties (super old) – similar styles here and here, also like these – 20% off w/code GETITDONE (ends 12/23) | Tory Burch bag – similar style on sale
I’m somewhat of a sucker for a nice, classic coat. Our winters last way too long, so that’s how I justify buying coats (or at least that’s what I tell myself haha).
But that’s one reason I don’t mind adding one or two coats each year to my closet. They last for years and years and I don’t see it as wasted money at all. Classic coats never go out of style, which means you’re getting your $$ worth (if you wear them of course) vs buying something that’s on trend at the moment.
While I truly do not need more coats, I did cave and order this one. Still waiting for it (it’s supposed to arrive by the 20th but it hasn’t shipped yet).
On a different note, you might have seen this dress on my Instagram the other day. I wore it again on Sunday but this time with red heels.
These heels are old, from Ann Taylor, but these are two gorgeous red styles available right now – these and these.
And here is the link to my gray ottoman (it’s on sale at the moment).
As always, thank you for reading.

Can you share the link for your grey ottoman?
Of course, here is the link: http://bit.ly/2K4Oe7n Also added it at the end of the post
