Keeping it simple

Happy Tuesday!

I got this coat a few years ago and I’m still in love with!  Timeless and effortless…which are a couple of my favorite words haha.

While I’ve had outfits in the past that made me ask “what was I thinking when I wore this?”…. this one is not one of those outfits. Anything simple and effortless won’t make you cringe in a year or a few.

Outfit Details:

Coat (old) – very similar options here, here and here  |  Cashmere Turtleneck Sweater  –herehere in ton of colors, non-cashmere option |  Levi’s Jeans (I sized up), love these w/raw them |  Booties  |  Givenchy Bag  – nice option under $70|

Last night I went into my closet for a bit and put aside a TON of sweaters that “don’t spark joy” and I haven’t even watched Marie Kondo yet haha (I have too many yet I keep reaching for the same ones over and over again).   I’ve said  before how I need to differintiate between something that’s ‘really cute’ vs  ‘that is so me’ pieces.  Pieces that I feel comfortable and great in…you know, like gray V-neck sweaters haha.

Shoes might be next!

Have you watched Marie Kondo yet?

Yes, and after you watch it you will be even more inspired to clean out! Love what you said about “‘really cute’ vs ‘that is so me’ pieces” .. I need to keep that in mind more when shopping!

Can’t wait to watch it. I think I need to keep a sticky note on my CC or have a window pop-up when I shop online reminding me of that haha.
