Hope all of you had a great weekend!
Sharing just a few fitting room try-ons from Ann Taylor‘s new arrivals and there are quite a few beautiful pieces.
While I haven’t been loving much lately from most retailers, I actually loved everything I tried on at AT. Their Spring and Summer pieces tend to be amazing!
Update: I added a few more try-ons to this post now that the pieces are available online….
This beautiful wrap dress…. The SA said it’s almost identical to one of the DVF wrap dresses she has. Dupe or not is it beautiful. My usual size, XS, fits great. Like with so many wrap dresses it’s a tad low cut but nothing a pin can’t fix. Obsessed with this floral pleated dress – need!
Absolutely love this dress! Maybe because the peplum covers my permanent food-baby haha. It is so flattering. I tried size 0 and it fits tts. Totally in love with all three dresses I tried on. I’m 5’6″ for reference and all three dresses are not quite above the knee but also not mid knee..kinda in between. I wish they were about 1-2 longer actually. Peplum Dress – 60% off
I almost didn’t try on this blouse but I’m glad I did as it looks much better on. The colors are nice and subtle. Untucked it covers the front and back completely. It is a tad low cut for me. Striped Pleated Top
LOVED this blouse! It’s beautiful in person (my sister loved it too). It looks great tucked or untucked. With jeans, slacks, skirt…quite versatile. Wearing xs below, fits tts. Top on major sale – Spade top
Classic and timeless sweater jacket. I have a few like this one that I’ve accumulated over the years, so naturally I had to try it on. Fits tts. Fringe Sweater Jacket
This gorgeous trench coat – such a pretty color which, I think, looks flattering on just about everyone (even nicer in person). I tired xs and it was a typical trench coat fit – roomy but not big. It’s hangs nicely. Very comfortable. Can’t wait to show you some ways to style this beauty. Trench Coat
Gorgeous classic dress! Ann Taylor tends to have the best dresses for the price (with some type of discount hehe). This one is one of those dresses you’ll have in your closet for years and years to come. It doesn’t go out of style. My usual sizes 0 was a good fit. TTS for me.
I wish this was not a sweater skirt just because they can be tricky for me. I tried on size 0 which is a tad tight on the tush but going up one size it’s too big around the waist (even this one has just a bit room in the waist). But I love it otherwise. Love the length! Beautiful color.
If you’re on the hunt for a classic blouse, this one is very nice. Like most blouses this color it might require a good nude bra or even a cami. But it falls nicely, the fabric feels nice…I’m a fan! XS was a good fit.
I talked about this Coatigan in a previous post. Still reminds me of a high end designer piece. It’s a nice elegant piece which can be dressed up or down. Below are just three ways to wear it, but there are way more options (and you’ll be seeing more of it).
Coatigan – on major sale | Jeans tts | Loafers (old) – very similar
Jeans (I sized up) | Mules from Target – this years version
Love these Chanel-esque pumps. Cap top Pumps | Pants
Which piece is your favorite?
Love the green skirt and green coat!
Both are so pretty!
Is the green coat for fall or winter. Asking for a New Yorker
It’s a trench coat, definitely not warm enough for NY winter.
Hi Lilly Love the dress!! im not seeing the belt comes with the Plaid Sheath dress. Did you have this belt already?
Hi, I just realized I linked the wrong dress…they look so similar. Updated the link. Sorry about the confusion.
Love that green skirt!!
Isn’t it gorgeous?! Such a pretty green.
All of them are super nice, timeless picks. AT does have nice selection of classic pieces that are also affordable.
Yes! I love Ann Taylor for their classic pieces. So many great options.
