Winter outfit ideas to keep you warm and chic

I rounded up some of my favorite cold weather outfits.  I’ll link all items that are still available, otherwise I’ll find similar pieces  so you can recreate some of these looks.

I’ve accumulated a number of Winter coats over the years and they all get a good amount of wear, as you’ll see in some of these pictures.

Similar style coat in shorter version

North Face coat in size Small  |   Cashmere Scarf – here and here |   Jeans  |  Boots |   Cable Knit Sweater

Not everyone is a fan of white jeans during Winter time.  I find Ecru colored ones a lot easier to wear. And the ones I’m wearing below are back.

Similar Coat  |    Ecru Jeans  |   Boots almost identical  |  Similar Bag

The only time I can wear Hunter boots in the snow is with these fleece socks or these Shearling inserts.

Boots  |  Jeans (check out the sizing)  | Top super old – similar here and here  +  this heat tech tee underneath  |  J.Crew vest old

An oldie but goodie. My pink coat if from J.Crew about 6yrs. old.  Here is a similar coat.

The puffer coat is the same coat as above with the Ecru jeans. I love belted puffer coats…they create a more polished look.  This one is almost identical, except mine doesn’t have the hood, which I would actually like.

necessary layers (all pieces are old but the coat is comes in other colors)  – J.Crew Coat

My navy coat is old, brand Anne Klein.

    Lilly,
I LOVE your website and I always look forward to your posts! I love your style and you inspire me week after week! What first brought me here was the black bag that you’re wearing in the picture above, with the green vest with your dog. I saw the bag years ago, somewhere online… and clicked… and there you were!
I wanted to ask you about your OTK SW boots. Are you satisfied with their look, with the back of them being a stretch elastic material, and not leather like the front? Does that take away from the look in your opinion? I’ve been contemplating getting a pair, but just not sure if I would be happy with that 1/2 and 1/2 shaft. I would appreciate your input and thoughts, thank you so much!!

Hi Lisa! THANK YOU so much, you totally made my day!
Haha I still love that bag, it’s a good one 🙂
I love the SW 5050 boots. I like the back part being elastic, I can’t picture them any other way. I don’t think it takes away from the look all, they’ll look very chic on despite the back. I’m super happy with them after all these years. If you’re planning on getting them I’d wait as there is sale coming up soon (they rarely go on sale). I’m not sure of the date yet, but I’ll share the sale on my blog 🙂

        Lilly,
Thank you so much, I trust and value your opinion; and that would be super! One more quick question: did you find them to be tts, or larger as many reviewers are saying? Now to just make my mind up over leather or suede…🤔
        Have a great day! 😘
PS: I tried out those gluten free brownies last night….yumm!!

Ah you’re so sweet! <3 I found them to be tts. But I'm also able to wear slightly thicker socks with them... they're definitely very comfortable.
Between leather and suede - I'd say go withe the option you can wear a lot more...so depending on the climate you live in. If you get snow where you live, I think leather ones would be better.

So glad you liked the brownies 🙂 I need to make them with a 'healthier' sweetener next time so I can justify eating so many 😉
