Outfits Lately – Fall Outfits Roundup

Hello!

It has been quite the nine days after the loss of our sweet, beautiful fur baby! In case you missed what’s going on, I shared what happened on my Instagram.  I’m slowly trying to resume my routine…keep myself busy, even though the void in our lives is still there and will always be there.  I didn’t know it was humanly possible to cry so much. She was the little love of our lives and we miss her more than words could ever express!

Before this entire post becomes a sob story, I’m going to move on to some of the outfits I recently wore (and when I say recently, I mean end of September and beginning of October).

It has cooled down quite a bit since I wore these outfits. It’s officially the time to bring out all the chunky knits out of storage boxes.  I shared last year how I take care of my sweaters in this post.  I love The Laundress products, specially this wool and cashmere shampoo that’s so gently on the knits.

I love this cardigan which is a tad boxy (I’m wearing XS) but not in a bad way IMO…it just looks chic!  It falls nicely and it looks flattering on. J.Crew Cardigan in XS – on sale! (avail. in more colors)  | Cami (super old) – great alternative here |  Skinny Jeans  | Loafers (very old) – great options here, herehere and here  | Rings  | Bar Necklace, Coin necklace (set of 2)

I’ve raved about this anorak so many times. It’s super thin so definitely not a cold weather jacket, just an fyi. But it’s perfect for light rainy days.

Anorak in XS |  Cashmere sweateraffordable cashmere sweater from same brand (I get size small)  |  Citizens of Humanity Jeans (same style, different color)  | GG sneakers, here fully stocked – option for less

I sized up in this tunic sweatshirt as I wanted it oversized. Otherwise it runs tts. It’s soft and cozy and perfect for the cold days that are here  (give me everything extra cozy).  It comes in more colors. Sneakers are old but still available. Very comfortable and they run true to size for me.

Tunic sweatshirt | Leggings  in size Small |  Nike Sneakers  (very comfortable. tts for me), also here from DSW

Love the length of this black cardigan…would have liked it a tad longer. It’s only $25 and it comes in more colors. Great basic that’s easy to throw on for extra warmth. Long Cardigan (only $25) |  Top old-  similar sytle | Old Navy Jeans in size 2  |  Golden Goose Sneakers (I’m size 8.5 and got 39)  – similar for less

I clearly have a thing for cardigan. This one is soft and cozy.  It’s on the shorter side but not cropped. A tad boxy but I like the style of it (definitely would have not liked it fitted). Cardigan in XS  | Levi’s Jeans (tts)  |  Sunglasses  |  Tretorn Sneakers tts

I just need a blanket and a good book here. So serene!

Have a lovely day!

So very sorry for your loss! I know this sort of pain all too well and it never entirely goes away. But it is important to focus on all the good times with Zoey, in which the memories and pictures will always be there. <3

My heart goes out to you because I know how the loss of a sweet animal can break your heart. You can take some comfort in knowing she felt and heard your love every day of her life. I bet you spoiled her. I know, having a dog, they make us feel like a celebrity every time we walk through the door. Their love is so special. My deepest sympathy to you and your husband.
