Spring Try-on (LOFT)

Last week I shared a few favorites from LOFT on my Instagram stories and my LTK page and ended up ordering a few pieces, all tops. I didn’t have high hopes but I was pleasantly surprised with these pieces.

I almost didn’t order this sweater but it’s my favorite piece from this order. I love, love a good button sweater and this one is so nice. I love the sage green color! I ordered XS and love the relaxed fit. The length hits just below my hip bone, which works for me since I like to do the front tuck anyway. I wouldn’t call it short or cropped as some reviewers did (maybe they have a long torso, idk). I think it works just fine for mid or high-waist pants. Very happy with this one, keeping it. It does come in more colors.

Love it paired with these Madewell jeans in Ecru (I sized up).

Wore it with light wash jeans, sneakers and utility jacket below (didn’t snap a better pic).

Second favorite item – this relaxed button down. This is something I didn’t need as I already have a couple but just like striped t-shirts….they’re all somehow different and I wanted to check this one out and see how it fits. I’m wearing XS below. This one is a relaxed fit/ever so slightly oversized which I absolutely love. It’s soft, not the stiff kind if that is what you might prefer. Really want to keep this one, but need to try my other ones I already own to see how similar they all are…especially since one of my faves I got a few years ago is from Loft. I would definitely recommend this one if you’re looking for a ‘cool-chic + relaxed fit’ kinda button down. Wide leg pants below are old but these wide leg are almost identical. Third favorite piece – this smocked square neck top. I ordered it in black and the floral print to see which one I’ll like better. I love square necks. Love! This one can be worn off the shoulder as well but I prefer it this way. I got XS and it fits tts. I’d say you could size down but you’d loose on length, which I wouldn’t recommend. Love this top, it’s a keeper. Smocked top in XS

I think this floral smoked top is prettier in person…the picture doesn’t do it justice. While I love both, I’m going to just keep the black one…and that’s because I have two floral smocked tops I got last year (I better not chance my mind and keep this one too). This one is perfect for spring and summer.

Love the style of this adorable top. It’s flowy and falls nicely (it’s roomy which I’ve found to be the case with LOFT’s flowy tops for years). It does requite a cami underneath as it’s very thin and sheer. With a good nude bra you can’t tell unless in the sun where the body silhouette would show… but I’d wear a cami. While it is really cute, I don’t see myself reaching for it a lot (I’d wear it but most likely it wouldn’t get a ton of wear/not as much as it should). Will be returning this one. Wearing XS below. This knit polo was only left in XS when I ordered it, and now it looks like it’s sold out. They might restock, never know. I’m sharing the pic because it’s such a great piece and maybe they still have it in some stores. It’s soft, not thick (no need for thick short sleeved knits). Nice stretch to it. Feels and looks pricier than it was. wearing XS.
