Fitting Room Snapshots + weekend sales

I haven’t tried anything on in store for about a year and a half and I’ve kinda missed it. I had a return to make at Ann Taylor (didn’t even take a picture of the pants before I returned them) and noticed all the cute stuff they had. I didn’t grab much to try on, even though there were more pieces I wanted to check out, but I’ll link more of my picks below now that they’re 40% – 50% off.

These pants were one of the favorite pieces I tried on. The true color is much much prettier in person. The pictures don’t do these pants any justice. I’m 26/2 in bottom and tried XS and they fit great. I’ll be getting these now that they’re on better sale. I love how versatile they are…easily dressed up for the office or dressed down for the weekend/everyday wear. They would look amazing paired with a pair of sneakers for a weekend look (even into Autumn). Totally would recommend these. Tank is in XS and and it’s fitted but not tight (comes in two more colors). Slides (go up a 1/2 size)

This square neck midi dress was my second favorite piece. Again one of those pieces that just doesn’t translate as good in these pictures. It had nice weight to it without being too heavy. Color also prettier in person. I tried size 0 in this dress and it fits well. It has the slightest gapping under arms which is not noticeable or something that bothers me. AT did good on this one! I probably should go back to the store for it as it’s sold-out online in my size already! I think this is the same style dress in pretty red.

Clearly I was drawn to a specific color on this day… Another pretty dress. Very light and easily dressed up for the office with a blazer or cardigan Wearing XS and it fits well.

I didn’t grab a different top for this skirt so this black one was my only option…or topless…which wasn’t really an option lol. This skirt was not only giving me vacation vibes but it was giving me high end designer vibes. The fabric has nice weight to it, doesn’t feel flimsy at all. I’m wearing size 2 below and it fits great. I did grab this skirt since it was on sale + extra % off. Another piece that can be dressed up with a nice top or dressed down for everyday with a plain tank.

Eyelet skirt – didn’t need to try this one on as I have an eyelet skirt in this color from forever ago (you might have seen it in the little throwback on my IG stories the other day).

Size small was the only size left in these shorts and they were way too big in the waist (doesn’t look like it but they would fall of if I jumped). I would need XS (I’m 26 in jeans for reference). Same racerback tank as above.

This was a cute knit top but it felt a tad tight under arms. It’s a tad on the shorter side but works ok with high waisted bottoms or if you have a shorter torso.
