Try-on Haul (J.Crew, Loft) and favorite Autumn Boots

I took the advantage of the J.Crew sale and ordered some pieces I’ve been eyeing. Also excited to “bring out” all my favorite fall boots which you’ll see below. Good news is that most of them are back this year…and for good reasons! Linking all outfit details under each picture, as usual.

I was trying to decide which color to order in this pretty half-zip sweater as they’re all really beautiful. I decided on icy orchid and navy. The icy orchid color looked so beautiful online and it did not disappoint in person – it IS absolutely beautiful. I love half-zip sweaters and the gold zipper on these adds a nice luxe detail. I ordered xs and it fits tts. It’s the perfect relaxed fit.

I was eyeing this Wool and Recycled Cashmere sweater since it arrived online and was glad to see it included in the sale. While I loved oversized sweaters I decided to size down in this one. While the true style of this sweater is oversized (as seen on the models), I would suggest sizing down if you don’t want it as oversized. I’m happy I got this one – great length to wear over skinny jeans or leggings but looks also great with the front tuck. The neckline is flattering, almost boatneck style. I was on the fence about this turtleneck sweater as turtlenecks are not super flattering on me (not if they’re on the tight side around my neck. Sounds weird but it is the case. Still wear them though). I decided on Heather Dove color because it looked oatmeal-y but it’s gray. I think I would have preferred Ivory in this one. I’ve had this shirt sitting in my cart for quite a while. I loved the color and the relaxed fit and decided to give it a try. Absolutely love it! It’s a slightly oversized fit but at the same time it’s gives a put together feel. I got my usual size and love the fit. If you prefer it less roomy, size down…as it is oversized. It’s even cheaper now (final sale though but the price is amazing even for just lounging in it). My favorite joggers and I don’t say this lightly. These are SO comfortable and I feel a tad more put together in these because of the fabric. They have over 1K reviews…they’re that good. I’m wearing xs (I’m usually size Small in Zella leggings). LOFT – I only got a few things for Loft a few weeks ago and kept forgetting to share.

I ordered this coat as I loved the color. It also reminds me of the J.Crew Dephane coat (it’s better quality and pricier than the Loft one. But it goes on sale. I have it in Black). As most Loft coats this one is a tad roomy but I personally wouldn’t size down, especially if I want to wear thick sweaters. It’s double-breasted which usually makes it look a tad roomier too. I would be curious to see what the smaller size fits like though. It comes in four beautiful colors. I think it’s a really nice Autumn coat. It’s pretty soft too. The other piece I got is the scoop neck long sleeve shirt I’m wearing underneath the coat, which I forgot to snap a pic off. But I love it. It’s soft and the perfect piece to layer under cardigans, blazers etc. It comes in multiple colors. Runs tts.
