I wanted to check out some new arrivals in person, like the green dress which I loved. I didn’t buy anything that day even though I loved a few pieces. No impulse purchases. Wanted to make sure I really love something vs the item just being really cute. If I can’t stop thinking about an item, it’s easy to order online than have buyers remorse.
I find that green never photographs well in dressing rooms for some reason. This green is a beautiful vibrant one in person. I tried on my usual size and it fit me true to size. Loved everything about this dress!

I’ve been eyeing this dress online since it arrived. It’s darling! Tried on size 2 below and overall fit was fine. There was a tad extra room in the chest area which might be great if you’re blessed up there. Perhaps a strapless bra would fill in the empty space a tad more lol (I had these nippies on).

Loved this cardigan! It was not on sale when I tried it on so it didn’t come home with me but this one is just a perfect summer to fall cardigan. Wearing xs below but wish I would have tried small to compare as I might like it a tad roomier. It does run true to size though.
Absolutely loved the cut of these jeans and the wash which is nicer in person. I tried on my usual size 26 and they felt just slightly tight in the waist for me (but I did try them on after a big breakfast). 
Crochet Cardigan in xs – tts | Tank runs a tad small
The store had this sweater tank in two other colors but it comes in five online. It is a really nice basic that not only looks great on its own, but layers nicely under blazers/jackets/cardigans. Great piece that will transition nicely from summer into fall. It is longer than in the picture below as I have it folded under. It has stretch to it but the xs looked so tiny. I tried small below.

Didn’t find much at Madewell. Was hoping for a better selection of new arrivals.
But…I did love these pants! Tres chic! They didn’t have size 0 or 2 so I decided to try 00. These definitely run big as I was actually able to fit in 00 (I’m sizes 26 in jeans for reference). I love the versatility of these pants – great for the office with a nice blouse but also perfect for everyday dressed down with slides or sneakers.

This gingham short sleeve sweater was another favorite (pictures don’t do it justice). Runs true to size.

Really cute ruffle details on this sleeveless sweater which in on sale + extra 25% off. Loved the color but I just didn’t feel me in it for some reason…maybe if it was a inch longer. This top might be great if you don’t have a long torso.

I love this color but it does not love me back! Not a flattering shade on me (looks great on picture but not with my face). It is on the shorter side, great if you have a shorter torso. Tts.
