Six Outfits to Try This Spring

Happy almost Friday!

I’m so excited for spring outfits!

The temps are finally going up. Yesterday was high of 71°…with rain and thunderstorms which appears to be the last day of rain for a while. Next week it is supposed to be in mid to high 70°’s during day with even a high of 82° day. Can you tell how excited I am about these warmer temps?! lol

A nice sunny day not only puts me in good mood, but I feel more inspired to pull out some of my favorite pieces. Outfit inspiration for myself and for those ‘I don’t know what to wear days’…which we all get.

I can definitely see these spring outfits being in heavy rotation once the weather warms up. They work for cooler days too, just throw on a light spring coat over them.

I purchased this oversized button down to wear it untucked…yet I tucked it in. I have this one which is a classic fit and I absolutely love it. Both quality and fit are great. So, if you don’t like oversized button downs, I would recommend this one. Mother denim sizing can be very inconsistent. While most of my Mother jeans are tts, there have been a few styles that were too small even when I sized up. I decided to size up in the Tomcat style. My fault that I didn’t pay attention to measurements but also the stretch. These have a nice amount of stretch to them and seem very comfortable… so I could have easily purchased my size. And if you’re in between sizes, you could size down. I’ve had this J.Crew tweed jacket for a number of years. I’m happy I never got rid of this classic jacket. While it is a classic and timeless pieces, tweed jackets and blazers are trending and getting the attention they deserve. Even just similar styles and not necessarily tweed. J.Crew is having a few beautiful option. Loving this striped one (I ordered it but it is back-ordered until May) and also this beautiful lady jacket. I’m wearing size small in this cardigan. The fit is relaxed. It does run true to size but xs wasn’t available and I liked the fit of size small.
