Fitting Room Snapshots - Ann Taylor

It has been so long since I’ve done fitting room snapshots. I hardly ever shop in stores anymore…I just love the convenience of online shopping. I had a return to make and went to the store. All the pretty new arrivals caught my eye so I decided to try on a few pieces (favorite one will be at the end of this post

Before I start, I know some will wonder about my flats. They’re from last year but found them in limited sizes on major sale (tts and very comfortable).

This floral square neck dress is such a pretty little number. This dress would be perfect for a number of different occasions. It was one was one of my favorites. I always struggle with sizing at Ann Taylor in this style of dress. I need size 0 on top and size 2 on the bottom. I would say it runs tts but if you’re small on top it might be a tad roomy. Ok, this dress was another favorite (currently in my cart). It fit well and it’s timeless. This is one of those dresses that would also work for different occasions by just adding different accessories and shoes. EMBROIDERED MIDI HALTER DRESS tts

This dress is absolutely beautiful. Elegant and timeless. Same issue with sizing for me – tried size 2 and it fits great on bottom but it’s a tad loose on top…but not too bad. Id’ say it runs tts but like with all dresses the fit depends on ones proportions. TWEED FLOUCE SHIFT DRESS

It looks like I’m wearing a dress but it’s two separate pieces. Beautiful, classic tweed skirt that is giving me high end designer vibes. Wearing size 2 below, tts. Really pretty skirt with functional buttons. I do wish it had a zipper instead of having to undo the buttons but it’s not a huge deal. I tested it sitting down to check for gapping between buttons and didn’t notice any. PLAID BUTTON FRONT SKIRT in size 2 | RIBBED KNIT TOP in xs

These linen blend pants are so chic for summer. Definitely something I would get for vacation. They come in two more colors. TTS even though I had just a small struggle pulling them over my hips. LINEN BLEND PULL ON PANTS | TOP

Another pair of linen blend pants I loved. SO chic and perfect for when you want to wear pants during warmer months but don’t want jeans. I tried xs and they were a tad tight on the booty. Not sure if they would stretch out at all. Should have also tried size small for comparison. TIE WAIST LINEN BLEND PANTS | RIBBED KNIT TOP

I always love short sleeve sweaters, this one is really nice, but I always struggle to find a good time of the year to wear it. Spring or early fall probably would be a good time – the ‘not too hot, not too cold’ weather. GEO STITCH SHORT SLEEVE SWEATER IN XS

Cute tweed jacket but a size too big.

Tried size xs in this cute cardigan. It tts but also just ever so slightly tight in arms. TEXTURED STITCH CARDIGAN

I tried size Medium in this button down for an oversized look. RELAXED BUTTON DOWN | PANTS

These Ecru jeans looked like a nice straight leg pair but the fit was so odd. At least on me.

And now for the favorite piece which I didn’t even think twice about getting – this gorgeous sweater jacket. They only had this one in store and in my size, perhaps a return, and I knew it was coming home with me. Such a beautiful classic piece that I will have in my wardrobe for many years. I shared it today’s Instagram reel.
