A Week of Spring Outfits

Finally rounding up some recent spring outfits! These are not in any particular order. The weather has been all over the place, I’m sure it has been in most places, hence a mix of different outfits.

I know I’ve said it before once too many times…but…I really want to get back to regularly posting on my blog! I miss it! But also the amount of blog posts I have started in the last couple of months and never finished is a little embarrassing. I think it has gotten so hard to work from home and stay focused. I’ve become way too easily distracted. Even now, as I’ve been trying to finish this blog post since yesterday, I’m thinking how I should repot my fiddle leaf fig tree that has been fighting for its life and a Topiary (also wondering why I only bought one and not two Topiaries). The struggle is real!

I also have a few fitting room snapshots from J.Crew, Madewell and Loft. Just tried a few pieces at each place so I’ll try to share those by this weekend.

So many of you purchased these off white wide leg pants. They’re SO comfortable with nice amount of stretch. I’m wearing size 2 in these which is my usual size in Talbots pants (I’m size 4 in J.Crew, Ann Taylor and Loft if that helps). I’m 5’6 and these are just the right length for me to wear with flat shoes. If you’re in between sizes you can size down. Same pants as above..

Recently I purchased a pair of Mary Jane Flats (this pair) and while they are so cute they ran small and were stiff… had to return them. In the meantime, Madewell gifted me these and the leather is so soft. A lot more comfortable than the Dolce Vita ones for me (even though I still love how cute the white ones are but I do wish the leather was softer). These Madewell ones come in several colors and they run tts for me. Another piece so many of you loved is this lilac stripe button down. I sized to up size Small as I prefer my button downs a tad more on the relaxed/oversized side. I’ve had this trench jacket for about 10 years! Trench jackets are having their moment right now, like many classic and timeless pieces do…they’re getting the limelight they deserve. So it’s not that they’re back in style… as they never went out of style. Linking some great option below.. These are all pieces I’ve had for a long time but almost all are still available. Love this outfit which I’ve, I’m positive, worn last year too. These jeans run tts for me. Only their newest color ‘Fitzgerald Wash’ ran small for me so I sized up (I think the sizing on it might depend on your body type. I needed more room for the back side).
