Seven Early Summer Outfits

Today feels like Monday to me! Anyone else?

Here is me attempting to start posting more frequently on my blog… I miss it! Not sure how many people still “read” blogs but I know I enjoy a nice blog post vs just scrolling through Instagram. So, we will see how me attempting to post more frequently goes. Maybe I should go back to posting a new blog post everyday with OOTD…bring this blog back to its originally roots.

I mentioned on IG how I tried this dress on back in April and didn’t buy it. Came home and regretted it. Hopped online and it was sold out in my size. It sold out twice before I finally was able to order my size during the last restock. It also comes in black. It is such a beautiful, feminine dress. I’m wearing xs. And did I mention it has pockets!?!

You’ve seen me wear these leather slides over the years (I think I’ve had them for 5 years). I remember when I purchased them, there were only 4 or 5 reviews lol. Now there are over 500. They’re amazing and more comfortable than Hermes Oran slides. Not kidding! I sized up a 1/2 as they ran small. They need a day of breaking in (less time than Oran slides). My favorite neckline in tops and dresses is a square neckline! I find it very flattering! When I saw this puff sleeve top I “had” to order it. It doesn’t have much stretch to it but xs fits tts. Thinking about ordering it in white too.

I love these linen button shirts. I have them in three colors from previous years and they’re back again this year in even more colors. I also use them as swimsuit coverups. They’re a slightly oversized. There is even a more affordable option here. I find vests so chic and have been on the hunt for a good one. I picked this one from Madewell (which was gifted). I had to size up..it runs small. If you are busty you might have to size up a couple of sizes. I purchased this J.Crew vest in Utility Green which came last week and I just tried it on today. Very unlike me lol. Size 0 fits fine actually but I would say it was fitted. I also ordered these linen pants in matching color, which I also tried on back in April (as seen here). Size 2 was kinda snug so I ordered size 4. I was SO disappointed when I tried them on and they fit exactly like size 2. For a second I thought I had ordered the wrong size but it was indeed size 4. My guess is that they put the wrong size on the tag as those pants most definitely are not size 4…and now the size is out of stock! Ugh!

I do love these linen blend pants and the relaxed fit. Size 4 looked quite large but it fit well (I mean they’re wide leg). I did put three more colors in my cart (just checked out before I forget or price goes up) as they’re great price IMO. Sometimes Loft has such great pieces. Like the linen pants above and this relaxed fit button down. It runs tts (still roomy) but I sized up to small as I like it even roomier. They look SO good together too, as seen here when I purchased both pieces. I’ve had this sweater a few years and I was so glad to see it’s back again this year. It is the perfect spring/summer sweater. It runs tts but again I size up as I like them even roomier. It comes in more colors.
