Fitting Room Snapshots – it’s a good one!

First, thank you SO much for your sweet and kind comments on my previous post.  Your kind words made my week.  Such kind words definitely make it easier to share more. 

It’s been a while since I shared fitting room snapshots, but most of these were too good not to share. 

I went to Ann Taylor to just get a pair of black pumps but walked out with more than just the pumps. 

Spring and Fall fashion is when I go broke lol. And everyone seems to be running amazing sales this weekend.  Very bad for the wallet.  When I get my CC statement my first thought it –  who stole my card and went onto a shopping spree. Yikes 

Let’s get to the good stuff…

I already tried this sweater on when it first same out. Price was too high, but now it’s on sale + extra 50% off. That’s more like it  I ended up getting Small even though it’s boxier, not in a bad way IMHO,  and it’s also tad longer.  

Lace-Up sweater 

I’m so in love with this combination.  This light sweater is meant to be fitted (as seen on model), which I didn’t like, so I sized up to Medium and I like much better the way it looks. 

Pants – they seemed long in Petite (I’m 5’6″) and once I tried them on I thought the length was perfect.   I always have a hard time with AT pants – they fit perfectly everywhere but I can barely zip them. Sizing up – they look too loose around the legs. These didn’t come home with me but I can’t stop thinking about them lol. So I will be ordering size 0 and 2. Hopefully size 2 won’t be too loose in leg area. 

Cold Shoulder Sweater in Medium  on sale + extra 50% off  /   Flare Sailor Pants in 0 Petite

This top is so gorgeous! Tried it in size Small but ended up getting XS. The black piping is fringe, but it’s not over the top. It does require a cami underneath. 

Fringe Button Down Blouse 

This is such lovely top! It would look specially amazing with white jeans for Spring and Summer. XS was sold out so I tried Small..which was looser than I’d like it to be. Other than that, it is quite nice. 

Striped Poplin Blouse  /  Cropped Pants

The tie details on the sleeves are so nice. This top also requires a cami underneath, guessing the other two darker colors don’t.  Again, xs was sold out and small was just a tad big. Easily dressed up or down. 

I desperately want these pants to fit me…not restrict my breathing. Again, they fit great through the leg but zipping them up is a challenge. I probably should try a different style, but doubt it would make a difference. Those darn hip bones…

Sleeve Tie top  / Ankle Pants

I liked this top more that I thought I would. If falls nicely and it’s flattering. Perfect for casual or dressy outfits.  It’s one of those tops you wear with jeans and look put together in to time.

V neck blouse in xs

This skirt looked huge so I grabbed size 0 but it was way too tight in hip area.  The print is beautiful, the fabric is interesting and the fit is just slightly off. 

Pencil Skirt 

Again, my size wasn’t available so I tried 2 which was way too big (might not look like it in pictures but it was).  I didn’t think I would love this jacket so much.  I wish I didn’t like most of these pieces so much lol. It’s a perfect jacket for transitioning in between season and it super chic. It also comes in navy. 

Flouce Moto Jacket 

Classic blouse, requires a cami. I’m loving blouses with jeans. Easy to throw on but you look like a million bucks (that’s what I think when I see women in a good pair of jeans and simple classic blouse).

There were other items I saw online I wanted to try but my local store didn’t have them.  A few pair of shoes, like these oh-so-pretty bow sandals, ankle strap heels,  side-tie pleated skirt (how beautiful is the color. Love!), side tie sweater…just to name a few.

Starting with one of my favorites. Love the tie details on the sleeves.  I kept thinking about this top…so yesterday I ordered it in xs.

I think it’s the year of beautiful blouses…  I don’t think red is much of my color, but had to try this beautiful feminine blouse nonetheless.

This top already made it debut in one of my outfit post and I’m still in love with it.
Flutter Sleeve Top in xs

This skirt came home with me. Got it in size 2. It has just the right amount of stretch too and it’s really comfortable.  I almost got this light sweater but realized I already have one that looks almost identical.
Ikat Boucle skirt on sale!  /  Merino Crew sweater

This could have been such a beautiful dress if the fit wasn’t way off, at least on me. The skirt part of the dress starts starts way too high on the waist which made it way too loose on the waistline (hope this  makes sense).  Either way, beautiful dress, the fit way off on me.
Short Sleeve A-line dress

Lovely dress but wasn’t for me.  If it was longer (looks longer than it is from the angle I took the pic) it would have been perfect.
